About us
The team at Silly Notebooks has over 25 years' combined experience in publishing newspapers, magazines and books for print. A chance meeting brought us together and, over a few beers, we joked about publishing a satirical book together. The joke became a reality, the resultant publication went on to be a great success and Silly Notebooks is the result. Meet the team:
Ben Lefroy
Managing Director
As a member of the editorial and production team on his school newspaper, and having done work experience at the local rag, Ben still remembers putting pages together on paste-up boards. He has just about kept up with the ever-changing production methods and has been in the industry for over 25 years.
Froggy
Systems Support
Although Froggy has no real publishing industry experience, he has been cleaning screens on both Macintosh and Windows-based computers his whole life and he has witnessed a fair amount of change over the years. He still rates the Apple Studio Display as his favourite.
Mugsy
Office Manager
Nothing would ever get done at Silly Notebooks without Mugsy. He looks after the important things such as tea and coffee. There is never any need to double check on Mugsy as his work is invariably watertight. He is always the last to leave and first into the office. Some say he never goes home.
